Already summer is waning and autumn is whispering around the corner, like the leaves fluttering to the ground. I do love this time of year. The weather is still cooperative and the leaves on the trees turn to beautiful warm colours of orange, red and yellow. September comes tomorrow. Parents are scrambling to get the kids ready for another school year, trying to keep up with the latest trends on clothes or items that their son or daughter ‘just has to have!’
For myself, it is a time to get creative with the new colour palette, welcoming the season and embracing all the warmth that comes with it. I always have one issue when I am working on my sewing or my art: what do I work on, first? I have so many ideas running through my brain that it sometimes overwhelms me and I become stymied. I’m so excited with all these projects awaiting me! I need to win the lottery so I can retire and do only crafting and art full-time. I will never be bored, that is for certain.
Coming soon, I will post photos of my creations, filled with autumn dreams and Halloween thrills.
